Horia Marinescu - studied in Bucharest (University for Architecture "Ion Mincu", Prof. Cornel Ghenciulescu) and Vienna (magister architecturae at the Academy of  Fine Arts, prof. Timo Penttilä and Massimilano Fuksas). Freelance architect and journalist. Specialised in structural architecture, assisted the engineering office of Wolfdietrich Ziesel, Vienna (among other projects: the Ephesus archaeological protection building). Cultural and architectural essays, published in Dilema, Secolul 21, architektur.aktuell, Arhitext. Viennese foreign correspondent for the Bucharest architectural review Arhitectura.
